Pradhan Manttri Awas Yojana UP - 11,286 Houses for First Phase

For the first phase of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Uttar Pradesh government has decided to build 11,286 affordable houses. This much of houses will be developed in 32 cities of Uttar Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

For the construction of homes under PMAY Uttar Pradesh in first phase, the government would spend about Rs. 384.59 and the scheme will benefit whose applicants whose household income is less than Rs. 3 lakh.

• 11,286 Houses to be build in Phase of PMAY UP.
• UP government approved the first DPR (Daily Progress Report) under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana.
• Government would spend about Rs. 384.59 for constructing houses in first phase.
• The amount for the construction  would be shared by Centre and state in the ratio of 60-40.
• In Uttar Pradesh, more than 20 lakh application received for PM Awas Yojana. 

The construction of more than 18.75 lakh houses has been approved by the central government for weaker segments including, EWS and LIG.
