PMAY Online Application Procedure Step by Step
Step 1: Go to MHUPA's official website for PMAY Urban at pmaymis.gov.in and take your mouse to sixth menu "Citizen Assessment" link.

As soon as your mouse will go to the link, five options will open, of which you have to choose one of the first two options as the following criteria.
- If you are currently in a slum then click on "For Slum Dwellers" otherwise click on "Benefit Under Other 3 Components" option.

Step 2: After clicking on the above link, the next screen will look like same as screenshot given below. Now, fill your Aadhar number and click on "Check" to check that your entered Aadhar number is correct or not.

Step 3: If your entered Aadhar number is correct, then the online application form of the Prime Minister Housing Scheme will be appeared as given in the below screenshot. If your entered Aadhar number in incorrect, try again after checking correctly you Aadhar number. And if you do not have Aadhaar number, you will not be able to apply for PMAY.

Step 4: In the above application form, fill all the details correctly such as Aadhar Number, your personal information, contact details, current residential address, Bank Account details and income details.
Step 5: Before submitting your form, click on check box “I am aware of….” and then click the “Save” Button at the bottom of the application form.

Step 6: Once you click on "Save" button, a system generated application number of your application form will be appeared and you can save it either by taking PMAY application printout by connecting printer with the computer or you can save it for your future reference.
Your application is done, now you can track you track PMAY application status on the same website at pmaymis.gov.in.
