LIC Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana 2017-18 - Pension Scheme for Senior Citizens

LIC Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY), is new pension scheme for senior citizens launched by Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India on 4th May 2017. Under LIC PMVVY pension scheme, an interest of over 8% for 10 years would be provided to senior citizens (Above 60 years of age).

The scheme would be available for one year from the date of launch and the central government would provide subsidy under Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY).

If you are wishing to get PMVVY scheme benefits then you can purchase the policy online from LIG India official website at www.licindia.in and you can also buy PMVVY pension policy offline. The steps to apply for PMVVY policy online through LIC website www.licindia.in.

Step-1: Go to the LIC Official website at www.licindia.in.

Step-2: Click on the banner of "Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana” under the header "Buy Policy Online" or Click Here

Step-3: The next page will appear with full of information about the scheme such as Plan Features, Additional Features, Pension Options and Pension Rates etc. and after taking a review of information, click on “Buy Online” button and fill all the necessary details and click on “Get Access ID” button to receive a 9 Digit Access ID.

Step-4: Once you receive access ID on your email and mobile number, enter it in the Access ID box in the right side of form and click “Proceed”.

STEP 5: After proceeding, fill mode details and choose the scheme and then do the payment and further complete all the steps to buy PMVVY policy online.

Additional Features of PMVVY Pension Scheme:

- Medical :-  No medical examination is required.
- Surrender Value :- Premature exit is allowed during policy term under exceptional circumstances like Critical/Terminal illness of self or spouse . Surrender Value payable in such cases is 98% of the Purchase Price.
- Loan:- Loan is available under the policy after completion of 3 policy years. Maximum loan granted will be 75% of the purchase price

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) Overview

- Pensioner would receive the pension at the end of each time period (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and yearly) chosen during policy purchase.
- Pension would be directly transferred to the pensioner’s bank account through NEFT or AEPS (Aadhar Enabled Payment System).
- If the pensioner dies during the policy term of 10 years, the purchase price would be refunded to the nominee of the beneficiary.
- Minimum age of entry in PMVVY is 60 years, there is no maximum age limit.

- Minimum pension is Rs. 1000 and maximum pension is Rs. 5000 per month.
- 98% of invested amount would be provided to the policy holder in case of premature exit. However, it is allowed only under exceptional circumstances like critical/terminal illness of self or spouse.
- Loan facility would be provided to the pensioner after the completion of 3 years of the policy under which loan amount would be maximum 75% of the invested amount.
- Lumpsum payment option is available to purchase the policy.
- No medical examination is required.

Amma Master Health Checkup Scheme Tamilnadu to Start in All Districts

Amma Master Health Checkup Scheme, launched in Tamil Nadu on 1 March 2017 for providing benefits of health checkup at low cost in government hospitals. Low cost health checkup facility under Amma Master Health Checkup Scheme is only available at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH), Chennai. Online registrations and appointments can be registered at www.mmcmhc.in and but facility would now be made available in different health institutions across the state.

Under the Amma Master Health Checkup scheme, facilities such as blood test, urine test, sugar test, thyroid test, screening for cholesterol, liver function would be available. Besides these tests,  diagnostic investigations like ECG, and USG abdomen would also be done at a very nominal fee.


From the launch of Amma Master Health Checkup scheme, over 16,500 people have been benefited and the health checkups are done on the first come first serve basis.

upsects.in Apply Online for UP State Health Card Scheme for Cashless Treatment

Online application form for UP State Health Card scheme or Cashless treatment scheme for UP state govt. employees and pensioners are being accepted through the official website of State employees cashless treatment scheme (SECTS) at upsects.in or uphealth.up.nic.in.

State employees cashless treatment scheme launched in the name of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay. The scheme is also known as Cashless Suvidha. Interested employees and pensioners can apply online for cashless treatment facility by following the registration procedure.

UP State Health Card Scheme

The facility of Cashless Treatment Scheme in UP will be provided to around 15 lakh govt employees and pensioners and their families. This medical treatment facility for govt employees and pensioners was earlier approved by state cabinet.

Under the UP Health Card Scheme, the government will provide medical emergency like accident, angioplasty, valve replacement, joint replacements, Organ transplant types treatment etc. And there will be no money limit of the treatment. And the facility will be available all over India for UP government employees.

Step-2: You will see the online application form of UP state health card scheme as available in the image below. In this form, you will have to enter all the mandatory details of yours like DDO Code, office name, applicants name, DOB, Basic pay, Aadhar number etc.

Now your online form for UP health card is completed but to get the heath card, you will have to visit the (Withdrawal Officer / Treasurer) for the verification of the application. And after registration verification, the beneficiaries would be able take a print health card from www.upsects.in.

To you print the health card, you will have to enter your Aadhar Number after that an OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to you. After receiving it, enter the same code in the required field and pint your cashless treatment card.

Loan Waiver Scheme for Farmers in Punjab to Benefits from 15 June 2017

Farmers Loan Waiver Scheme is an initiative of Punjab government introduced for farmers to benefit them. Farmers Loan Waiver Scheme 2017 will be rolled out from 16 June 2017 for providing a relief to those farmers who had taken loan from banks for agricultural purposes.

A committee has been formulated by Chief Minister of Punjab, Amarinder Singh formed for the implementation of Farmers Loan Waiver Loan Scheme across the state. The committee experts would work towards evaluation of needed amount for the scheme and provide a relief on the pending loans of farmers.

Farmers Loan Waiver Scheme Punjab Highlights
  • The main objective of the scheme is to overcome the loan burden of farmer.
  • The scheme will help the farmer in Punjab to overcome from the burden of loan.
    The farmers having 5 acres of farms will be covered under the scheme. 
  • Total outstanding farm loan amount on farmers in the state is about Rs 72,770 crore and of total Rs. 59620 crore is crop loan.
  • Waiver would be more likely for short-term crop loans instead of long term loans. 
  • A deadline of 60 days has been given to the committee for preparing a solid report about the farmers loan.
The scheme will not only pay off the outstanding loans but would also work out on creating methods for the remission of debt.

Free Smartphone Scheme for Jharkhand Panchayat Workers

New free smartphone scheme in Jharkhand for Panchayat workers has been announced and Chief Minister Raghubar Das promised to give free smartphones to panchayat swayam sevak under the scheme. The smartphones under the Jharkhand new scheme would be distributed by the PM Narendra Modi among the members of Sakhi mandals in Sahibganj in April.

The smartphone scheme for panchayat workers was announced during the Panchayat Swayam Sevak’s meet  and the title of meet was “Sarkar Aapke Dwar” at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Dhurva. Jharkhand rural development minister urged the CM to launch such scheme for Panchayat workers.


The smartphone scheme launched with objective of empowering the Panchayat Swayam Sevak and aware them towards digital technology. The initiative would help the Panchayat Workers seamlessly connect and communicate with the other government departments.

In the central government’s flagship housing scheme “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana”, the Panchayat Swayam Sevaks would also be paid their contribution in the implementation of the scheme. And the government would develop about 2.2 lakh houses across the state under PMAY-Urban.

मुख्यमंत्री मंत्री कृषि ऋण योजना अरुणाचल प्रदेश - शून्य ब्याज दरों पर फसल लोन

राज्य सरकार ने "मुख्यमंत्री कृषि ऋण योजना" नाम से एक नई योजना शुरू करने जा रही है जिसके तहत राज्य में किसानों को शून्य ब्याज दरों पर फसल पर लोन प्रदान किया जाएगा। सरकार ने बैंकिंग चैनलों के माध्यम से किसानों तक आसान औपचारिक राशि प्रदान करने के लिए शून्य कृषि ऋण योजना शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया है।

मुख्यमंत्री कृषि ऋण योजना

राज्य सरकार "मुख्य कृषि ऋण योजना" के तहत किसानो को कृषि ऋण पर 4 प्रतिशत की ब्याज छूट और 3 लाख तक का किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड प्रदान करेगी। मौजूदा वित्तीय वर्ष में राज्य के सभी किसानों को सभी बैंकों द्वारा स्वीकृत लोन पर यह ब्याज दर छूट लागू होगी। आरबीआई / नाबार्ड द्वारा जारी की गई नीति के मुताबिक राज्य सरकार द्वारा दिए जाने वाली ब्याज पर छूट केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा दिए गए ब्याज की छूट के ज्यादा होगी

किसानों को शून्य ब्याज की कृषि ऋण सुविधा उन किसान प्रदान की जाएगी जो कि 3 लाख रूपये तक के लिए किए गए लोन का समय पर भुगतान करते हैं। जो अपने अल्पावधि फसल ऋण को एक वर्ष के भीतर चुकाते हैं, और तो और उन्हें इस योजना के तहत 3% ब्याज की सहायता मिलेगी।

बैंकों को फसल ऋणों की स्वीकृति राशि की प्रतिपूर्ति नाबार्ड द्वारा की जाएगी जो कि इस योजना के तहत चैनल पार्टनर के रूप में कार्य करेगा।

मुख्यमंत्री कृषि ऋण योजना में किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड या अरुणाचल प्रदेश ग्रामीण बैंक, सभी वाणिज्यिक बैंकों, अरुणाचल प्रदेश राज्य सहकारी एपेक्स बैंक (एपीएससीएबी) से किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड या फसल उत्पादनके लिए  लोन लेने वाले सभी किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा।

किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड और फसल ऋण के आवेदन पत्र बैंकों द्वारा ही उपलब्ध कराये जाएंगे। प्रारूप उसी तरह होगा जैसा पहले से ही (KCC) केसीसी और अल्पावधि फसल ऋण का लाभ उठाने के लिए किया जाता था। अरुणाचल प्रदेश राज्य सरकार ने चालू वित्त वर्ष के भीतर कम से कम 7500 किसानों को योजना लाभ प्रदान करने का लक्ष्य रखा है।

Mukhya Mantri Krishi Rinn Yojana - Zero Interest Crop Loan Scheme Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh government is planning to provide crop loans at zero interest rates to farmers in the state under Mukhya Mantri Krishi Rinn Yojana or Chief Minister Krishi Rinn Yojana. The proposed zero interest crop loan scheme will help the farmer in taking format credits through banking channels easily.

Mukhya Mantri Krishi Rinn Yojana

The purpose of planning the scheme is to provide crop loans at zero interest rates to farmers in the state. Interest subvention of 4% on crop loans and kisan credit card with a limit of up to 3 lakh will be provided to the beneficiaries under Chief Minister Krishi Rinn Yojana.

It would be applicable on the crop loans sanctioned by all banks to all farmers in current financial year. The percentage of interest subvention given by state government would be over and above of the interest subvention given by the central govt. as per policy issued by RBI/NABARD.

Zero interest crop loan scheme would cover those farmers who make the timely payment of loans taken up to Rs 3 lakhs. And the farmers would also be able to get to 3% interest subvention under the scheme if he/she repay their short term crop loan within one year of disbursement.

NABARD will act as banking channel partner and reimbursed the subvention amount of crop loans to the banks.

Chief Minister Krishi Rinn Yojana would also cover the farmer availing the benefits of Kisan Credit Card or taking crop production loan from Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, all commercial banks, Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex bank (APSCAB).

The arrangement of Kisan Credit Cards application form and crop loans application will be made by the banks itself. The format of application would be same as being used for KCC applications and short term crop loans.

 The AP government has set a target of benefiting at least 7500 farmers under the scheme within the current financial year.
