Chandigarh Housing Board New Housing Scheme 2017 for affordable flats and houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Chandigarh. CHB inviting application forms from EWS (economical weaker section) and LIG (lower income group) for estimating the demand of ews and lig houses under HFA mission in Chandigarh through a demand survey.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Chandigarh - CHB Housing Scheme 2017

Eligible people can apply for demand survey of ‘PMAY-Urban’ or ‘Housing for All by 2022’ (HFA) two components including affordable flats in Chandigarh and credit linked subsidy scheme. Under the scheme, interest subsidy @ 6.5% on Rs. 6 lacs for new construction/addition of rooms, kitchen, toilet etc. to existing dwelling units to be provided that the carpet area of houses being constructed or enhanced under this component of the mission should be upto 30 square meters and 60 square meters for EWS and LIG respectively and construction/enhancement is as per byelaws/rules applicable in Chandigarh.

How to Apply for Demand Survey of EWS & LIG Houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Chandigarh

You can purchase the application form for CHB demand survey under PMAY Chandigarh from Chandigarh Housing Board Reception Counter, Block-C, Sector 9-D, Chandigarh at a cost of Rs.10/-. If you are not able to go there you can also download the demand survey form from www.chbonline.in.

Period of submission of Demand survey form along with Rs.10/- as registration fee in the shape of postal order shall extend from 20.3.2017 to 20.4.2017. However, the applicants who upload their forms on the PMAY-MIS Portal are not required to deposit the registration fee of Rs.10/-

In the above application forms, the applicants will have to mention the all mandatory information which is being required to get the benefits of Housing for All 2022 (HFA) Scheme in Chandigarh.

5. Present Address and Contact Details: Mention house number, name of the slum, city and mobile number. 
6. Permanent Address: Mention house/flat/door number, name of the street, city/village, district and state. Aadhaar Card Number, if not available 
7. Voter ID Card / Any other unique identification number or a certificate of house ownership from Revenue Authority of beneficiary’s native district 
8. Number & age of family members 
9. Religion 
10. Caste 
11. Whether the family owns any house anywhere in India 
12. Ownership details of existing house 
13. Average monthly income of household (in Rupees) 

Eligibility Criteria for Demand Survey in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Chandigarh

• Only EWS households living in urban area of Chandigarh are eligible to submit demand survey forms for affordable Housing in partnership & individual house enhancement provided that they are residents of Chandigarh as on 17.6.2015 having Aadhar Card/Voter Identity Card and having no house/residential plot anywhere in India. 
• EWS households annual income should be upto Rs. 3,00,000/- and LIG households annual income range for their eligibility is Rs.3,00,001/- to Rs.6,00,000/-. The eligible participate should also fulfill the conditions mentioned in the form for the Scheme.
